Well I had a busy day got into bed was nearly about to close my eyes when I remembered – I need to share the goat of the day! Apologies for the lateness, but here it is with 65 minutes to spare!

If you made a resolution that you have found difficult to keep be patient- changing habits take time. Shift your focus to long term success and don’t worry about being absolute and strict. Achieving goals comes from persistence over time, not perfection.

It is perfectly normal to feel somewhat bewildered in the days after the holidays. It’s not quite time to be back on a full work schedule, but yet it’s not a holiday nor is it the weekend! Don’t worry, just roll with it and things will return to routine soon.

They say hindsight is 2020 but I say who cares. Focus on the here and now and don’t waste your time worrying about the past.

And so here are the last few hours of the 2010s. The decade for me certainly has had its ups and downs, and I am ready and excited to welcome whatever comes next. In celebration, I have compiled the ten most popular goats of the day from 2019 – which includes two sheep who were featured on April Fool’s Day. I hope wherever you are that you have a fantastic New Year’s Eve and that the new decade brings you peace and prosperity. Thank you for continuing to indulge my hobby of goat photography.

Let go of all doubt and know that you have got what it takes to reach your dreams. Don’t hesitate to put yourself out there and take risks – and never be afraid to fail. Make 2020 the year of going for it – whatever your it is!

As our inboxes fill with ideas about how to improve ourselves for the upcoming new decade, perhaps consider (in contrast to the last post) that you are enough just as you are. Perhaps this is the year where you don’t need to make a resolution or revamp your life. Perhaps this is the year where you celebrate you – just as you are – and trust that you have everything you need already. You are enough.

Is there something you hope to someday accomplish? Imagine if you started working towards that goal now where you could be at this time next year! If it’s worth it then don’t hesitate to get started – if you wait until everything seems perfect the chance might skip you by.

Feeling stuck? Sometimes the best cure is a brief change of scenery! Step out of your neighborhood, find a new route or embark on a last minute adventure. You never know, you might find something wonderful along the way.

The week threshold between one year and the next can be quite difficult sometimes. With schedules in flux and lingering between holidays, it is challenging to stave off boredom and anxieties about things to come. You might even find yourself longing for your routine! Fear not, the liminal transition will come to an end soon and an amazing new year will begin.
