One of Tao Porchon-Lynch’s secrets to longevity is one I have struggled with my entire life, but is so important and makes life so much less stressful and easy.
I don’t want to sit there hoping, wishing and wasting time.
Procrastination, or putting off what you could get done (or should get done) until a later point in time is a productivity and self-esteem killer. It always ok to take rest, but never put off things that need to get done or things that might sing to your soul.
Is there something you hope to someday accomplish? Imagine if you started working towards that goal now where you could be at this time next year! If it’s worth it then don’t hesitate to get started – if you wait until everything seems perfect the chance might skip you by.
I am super late but that is better than missing it altogether! I like to joke sometimes that when you save something for the last minute, it only takes a minute to do – but really don’t procrastinate – take the time you need to get the job done right.
My apologies about missing the seventeenth of October!
Fun fact, if you save something until the last minute, it only takes a minute to do! Also fun fact, if you live in the UK and plan on sending things to the US tomorrow in hopes of them arriving before Christmas, tomorrow is the last day to do so! The holidays can get quite hectic, but don’t worry loyal goat enthusiasts, I did not forget.
