Stress can have a major impact on your physical health as well as your mental health. In addition to anxiety, stress can cause heart problems, stomach problems, and leads to a host of other issues such as social withdrawal and sleep deprivation. How to cope? I am still figuring that out, but one start is to enjoy some sunshine. It is perfectly acceptable to take some time for yourself and literally do nothing. However, if you find that stress is over taking your life, the absolute best thing to do is to ask for help, from a friend, family member or professional.

It is never too late to try something new. Although I have never been a particularly artistic person – my forte has typically been appreciating rather than creating art – in the past few years I have dabbled in some graphic design and graphic arts. It is really a wonderful thing to have people in your life to care for. However, the best way to care for those special people in your life is to make sure that you also take care of yourself. If you are happy, balanced and fulfilled you can better take care of those you love. And those good vibes are likely to be contagious!

There is a difference between quitting tasks and knowing when something no longer serves you and the best course of action is to walk away. It is ok to change your goals or objectives of your life. If you have given you all and continuing on the path is painful, then find a path that fulfills you. Changing course does not indicate failure; rather, it illustrates courage.

Allow yourself to change coarse, it might lead somewhere amazing!
