Wrap up the summer made in the shade
Go forth and make the most of the last weeks of summer – before you know it the days will be shorter and colder. Enjoy some sunshine this weekend.
Have an amazing weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather
If you find yourself overwhelmed, take a moment to check in, relax, and just breathe. Find a comfortable seat, close your eyes and listen to your breathe and let the moment pass. Summer can be lovely, but it can also be super busy, so make sure to look after yourself amidst the holiday adventures.
Inhale, exhale, allow yourself a moment of quiet rest here and there
And all of a sudden it is August?! Where does all the time go? Don’t worry, there are at least six weeks of summer and a month left of summer holiday time to enjoy before it starts to get cold.
How do you like to beat the heat? I like to find some shade and a cool drink. It’s a great day for a refreshing salad and some delicious gelato.
stay cool and stay balanced
When it is super sunny make sure to take care of yourself – stay hydrated and drink water, wear sun screen (or sun cream) and consider investing in a snazzy pair of sunglasses. Summer is fun and sunshine is a wonderful source of Vitamin D, but be careful out there!
The smell of sunscreen always makes me think of summer shenanigans!
Today is the longest day of the entire year, if you live in the northern hemisphere. Because the planet Earth (the one we live on) rotates around the sun on a tilted axis, certain parts of the planet get more or less sun depending on the time of year. Basically, billions of years ago, when our solar system was being formed, tons of bits of mass collided together to form mini planets, which then collided together to form proto-planets, which eventually became most of what our planet is now. Then, another pro-planet collided with the prelude to Earth and put us on our lovely little tilt which is reasonable for the seasons. Amazing! And the seasons are a big part of why life was able to flourish on our planet. Incredible how things tend to all fall into place like that!
Completely fantastic how millions of collisions resulted in a planet with goats. Amazing.
Sometimes, you just have to be you. I hope that you all have a place or space in your lives where you can be completely and totally free.
Roll around and get comfortable with yourself ❤
