Sometimes people like to recommend doing one thing each day that scares you. Perhaps instead, do at least one thing each day that fills you with joy.

Crip autumn days with crunchy leaves underfoot, brisk breezes demanding jumpers, cardigans and hoodies along with warm drinks and new books is such a lovely time of year. Although the year is nearly over, when September rolls around it always feels to me like a fresh start. Maybe commit embarking on a new challenge for the fall – perhaps reading a new book per month, making a new friend, or taking up a short course to learn a new skill. The possibilities are endless.

Fall is the perfect time for fresh starts
I don’t know about ya’ll, but often I feel like I am the odd one out. Fear of missing out, or FOMO, sometimes can cause me a lot of anxiety. Take a step back, appreciate the moment and be in the now.

Sometimes it’s better to not be amongst the herd.
Perhaps consider this weekend assuming that everything is going to go right. Assume the best of yourself, of those around you, of strangers, and the universe at large.

Challenge yourself to see the best in every person and every situation
Find a spot in the shade and reflect on what a summer its been. With only a few more weeks it’s easy to let it all slip by, take a few moments to savor it while it’s here!
