Take a moment, turn your attention inward, and own what makes you weird. The things that make you weird are the things that make you wonderful.

Celebrate you and what makes you unique
Sometimes the best friends you can make are the ones living close by. I am lucky enough to live in a place where I have really fantastic neighbors. Sometimes, like these goats, we all hang out at a picnic table in a courtyard in the centre of our flats. Special thanks to Dr Cameron Petrie for snapping this amazing photograph of some goat friends relaxing on a picnic table in the Netherlands.

Good picnic tables make for the best neighborhood hangouts.
Find a partner who nourishes your soul and you will never go wrong.

The best partners are ones who make you feel full inside and out.
Traveling is good for the soul – whether it is across the planet, your home country, your town or across the street.

Adventure awaits!
It is ok to take some personal space sometimes to recharge. This weekend, make sure you carve out some time just for you to spend with yourself.

It is ok to break off for a bit and join back when you are ready.
At the end of the day, just do your best and be true to yourself. It’s really all we can do, isn’t it?

Be true to yourself and hopefully the rest will follow
Comfort zones are good places to recharge and rest, but eventually it is good to break through. Although it is tempting to stay, we grow and experience more when we allow ourselves to be uncomfortable and challenged.

Go for it – something amazing is waiting for you!
One of the best parts about starting Goat of the Day is that my friends living in different parts of the world sometimes send me pictures of goats they encounter during their adventures. My friend Lena sent me a photograph of this goat in France on an island called Noirmoutier near a chévrerie where goat cheese is made. Although only bound to the pasture by a single rope, this goat was content where she was. Take a moment to find contentment exactly where you are – and remember a boundary is only as firm as you want it to be.

Sometimes you find yourself right where you want to be.
I urge you all to relax and rest up a lot – it goes well with the “good vibes” theme of this blog. However, sometimes, finding that relaxation and rest can actually take some work. The travel before the holiday or the preparation before you can switch off, but don’t worry and stress too much. Doing the leg work to get ready to relax is well worth it.
