All of your struggles are simply growing pains, shaping you and making you stronger and better equipped for what lies ahead.

Keep pressing on, without struggle there is no victory.
The harder your work for something, the more you need rest. In our physical bodies, the time we spend resting after a difficult task allow our body to heal and our muscles to become stronger. So rest up – you’ll be stronger for the week ahead!

In order to be your best, strongest self, you have to take time to rest.
Every now and then, challenge yourself to be vulnerable. You never know, it could be the start of an amazing relationship.

Make eye contact and make a new friend
Don’t be afraid to wobble or fall when you’re finding your balance or yourself. If we never took the risk to stand upright, we would never have any adventures.

Be a lifelong student, keep taking risks and keep learning
Depending on where you are, the autumn is a wonderful time to enjoy seasonal foods. Of course, there are pumpkins aplenty, but also beets, rocket (arugula), spinach, cabbage and sweet potatoes – all of which lend themselves to delicious, nourishing meals. Take care of yourself from the inside out – and sweet potatoes and pumpkin especially are wonderful fillers for one of my favourite fall foods – PIE.
The goat pictured below is Harriet, who is friends with Cindy, yesterday’s goat. They live happily together on my friend Pippa’s farm.

Make sure to stay nourished as the days grow shorter and colder this fall
There is a saying that “Rome was not built in a day” which is absolutely true! It took over a millennia from Rome to expand from a city on the Tiber to an empire reaching from the farthest corners of Europe across the Fertile Crescent and Northern Africa. Most likely, your goal is probably not inter-continental domination, so luckily whatever it is you are trying to accomplish won’t take that long, so keep at it. If it is important to you, then it is absolutely worth the wait.
In addition, today’s goat is a friend of a friend of mine. Her name is Cindy and judging from her easy grin, she quite likes October so far.

The tools to success aren’t always military might and a big budget, but rather patience and perseverance.
Oh goodness it is late and I’m all out of ideas of what to say! Enjoy some goats and I will summon some wisdom for tomorrow.

Say less do more when in doubt choose baby goats
Autumn is such a hopeful time. Keep your chin up and your shoulders back – you’ve made it this far, and that’s amazing!

Keep a pep in your step – you’re on quite the adventure!
Saturdays are great days to hang out with friends.

Rest relax and spend time with your friends
