Sometimes it is ok to indulge and enjoy some cake or a special meal. However, you should always try to eat some vegetables everyday.
Today is the 182nd day of the year, so we are halfway through! Time really goes by quite quickly sometimes – take some time to reflect on all that you have experienced and accomplished so far this year – and perhaps revisit and reimagine resolutions and goals you set for yourself 182 days ago and make new ones for the next 182 days ahead.
Do you ever feel like you are an impostor? Somehow careening along, worried that someone might figure out that you don’t belong, or that your accomplishments are not your own? Imposter syndrome can be really difficult and a cause of stress, depression and other bad things. Take solace in the fact that even if you feel like you aren’t, you are worthy, you do belong, and your accomplishments are well deserved because you are amazing.
Instead of getting in your car, go for a walk. It’s better for the planet and for your body. Plus you never know what wonderful things you might encounter along the way.
Find someone in this world who you can rest your head on. At the end of the day, a good partner is someone who supports you no matter what, even if you need to take a nap using them as your pillow for a bit.
It is easy to get lost thinking about what might have been or worrying about future plans. Perhaps take some time this weekend to just focus on what is going on in the present – take a few moments to be content and find joy in the now.
Can you believe that we are already six weeks into 2019? Hopefully the year has treated you well, you have got your routine down and accomplished some beginning of the year goals. Perhaps today just take some time to relax and be content. Another new week is upon us and the best way to guarantee a fresh start is a stress-free Sunday!
