Autumn is such a hopeful time. Keep your chin up and your shoulders back – you’ve made it this far, and that’s amazing!

Keep a pep in your step – you’re on quite the adventure!

Last weekend’s harvest moon has really got me thinking about nourishment. As the seasons change, sometimes so do our priorities. The back to school vibe of September is a great time to check in and figure out what best fills you up – nutritionally, emotionally, even spiritually.

Be full of hope and gratitude this fall
Sometimes people like to recommend doing one thing each day that scares you. Perhaps instead, do at least one thing each day that fills you with joy.

Focus on joy, eat some ice cream, take a stroll in the sunshine
Take a moment, turn your attention inward, and own what makes you weird. The things that make you weird are the things that make you wonderful.

Celebrate you and what makes you unique
It is ok to take some personal space sometimes to recharge. This weekend, make sure you carve out some time just for you to spend with yourself.

It is ok to break off for a bit and join back when you are ready.
Whew, sometimes the weeks feel like they go by so fast! Take some time this weekend to pause and take an inventory of all the amazing things in your life. It is hard but sometimes remembering a special detail here and there can highlight the best bits of life that can easily slip under the radar and be taken for granted.

So many little things to take stock of and be grateful for this weekend ❤
I have said it before when I am running late, and I will likely say it again in the future. Sometimes, if you save something until the very last minute, it only takes a minute to do.

With 45 minutes to spare!
It is never too late to start something new or make a big change. Rest today and prepare for new opportunities and developments for the week ahead.

Feel like changing course? To quote a famous shoe, just do it.
A new study from the Queen Mary University of London indicates that goats lead rich emotional lives. Their research has shown that goats can recognise the calls from their goat friends and distinguish those calls from the sounds of unfamiliar goats, an ability scientists call emotional contagion. The study even showed that goats respond to specific emotions of other goats, for example when their friends are happily enjoying a meal, illustrating that goats have empathy. Empathy is an amazing trait that goes hand-in-hand with compassion – aren’t goats amazing?

Empathy and compassion are wonderful traits to have.
It is perfectly acceptable to take up space in the world. You are an amazing and deserving of acceptance and respect. I have been really inspired lately, surprisingly, by recent sports events and want to share an amazing quote from an amazing woman:
Putting yourself out there is hard, but it’s so worth it. I don’t think anyone who has ever spoken out, or stood up or had a brave moment, has regretted it. It’s empowering and confidence-building and inspiring. Not only to other people, but to yourself.
