goatsI hope that if you are reading this that you had a lovely, fun-filled Sunday. I was lucky enough to spend some time with some goats at a local town and country fair. I am grateful that you are still with me, after over six months of daily goats, and appreciate your patience when you may see a goat on multiple occasions. I truly do my best to maintain all original material and goats that I have personally met, or goats that my friends have personally met. Here is an adorable baby goat to give you inspiration for the week ahead.

Thursdays can be exhausting, but there is hope for the weekend, plus there is always coffee!

It is good to have an idea of what you need to get done and hope to accomplish, but it is also good to be flexible and able to say “yes!” to surprise opportunities that might come up throughout the week. Saying yes may just be the start of something incredible!

goatsLooking around it may seem like some people just have it better than you. They may appear to be more accomplished, have more things or even enjoy more happiness than you do. Judging yourself against the lives of others only harms you. You never know what cobwebs might be hanging behind someone’s gleaming smile or job promotion. Everyone struggles, everyone has their own stories to tell, and comparing yourself to what might appear to be brighter, bigger or better than you is completely unproductive. Be proud of yourself, your story and your accomplishments AND have joy for others, knowing that you will never know their full story. Everyone deserves contentment, give yourself the gift of liberating yourself of jealousy and comparison.
Imagine in a world where you accept your own amazingness AND the amazingness of others.

goatsNever leave for tomorrow what could be done today is usually a sage piece of advice; however, once in awhile, it is ok to leave the sink with some dishes, the floor with some laundry, or boring chores for the next day if something more pressing comes up first. That can even include allowing yourself adequate rest!
Don’t worry, it will get done, always prioritize yourself.

goatsSometimes, the best strategy is to detach yourself from the gratification of achievement, but focus on the benefits of the work itself. If you focus too much on the end result, you might miss something amazing along the way.
It is ok if it takes awhile to complete a goal – enjoy the adventure!
